W-II Easymay Slimming Drink

WII Easy May Slimming TV Segment

I happened to watch the W2 Easy May slimming TV adverts while flipping through the different TV channels yesterday. Several women were giving their testimony on how the W-II Easymay health drink and W-II skin firming cream made them look better than before.

How W-II Easymay Works

According to the myezshopmall.com which markets the W-II easymay health drink, the slimming drink has an "all-natural formula that maintains healthy intestinal ecology by eliminating toxins and balancing the acid constitution. It can also help you get rid of the unwanted fats by blocking the absorption of fats".

For those who have tried this weight loss formula:

Is the EasyMay slimming drink really effective? What are the side effects of using W-II Easymay slimming drink? I have tried to use Pearl White slimming capsules before but I stopped because of the side effects (e.g I can't sleep well).

Should Your Child Drink Mosegor Vita?

This post is about our family's experience with Mosegor vitamins and how I personally view the risks of taking it. Mosegor side effects may vary from one person to another. I recommend that those who plan to take Mosegor vita vitamins consult with their health care providers first.
A few months back, somebody recommended that my son take Mosegor for kids because he was not eating enough and was losing weight.

Mosegor and CNS stimulation

I bought the mosegor vita syrup vitamins from the pharmacy but after reading the leaflet enclosed in the mosegor vitamins packaging, I felt doubtful about giving it to my son. The leaflet says that the side effects of mosegor vita include sedation and CNS stimulation.

What is CNS stimulation?

CNS stimulation, according to this site, can include restlessness, lightheadedness, tremors, confusion and hallucinations.

I discussed with other moms about the Mosegor vita complex and one mentioned that her son had tantrums and became hot headed when she gave him the appetite stimulating vitamin. According to her, the tantrums stopped after she stopped giving mosegor to her son. Some parents, however, said that their children who were taking the vitamin became healthier and looked better.

I decided to switch vitamins anyway. My son is using Potencee and Ferlin iron supplement right now. Fortunately, my son is now eating well and I do not have to worry (yet) about giving him vitamins that can stimulate appetite.

* Mosegor syrup (sometimes misspelled as mosigor vita) is sold in the Philippines to aid in weight gain. Mosegor vita capsule and tablets are also available for adults.

Ampalaya as Diabetes Cure

Commercials and campaigns for Ampalaya as a cure for diabetes has spurred the emergence of different amapalaya based food supplements that are marketed in the country today. Even my diabetic mother in law is taking "ampalaya tablets" as food supplement.

Is ampalaya really a cure for diabetes?

According to pinoysites.org's article "Ampalaya, A Nature’s Cure to Diabetes?", the Philippine's Department of Health (DOH) used to ban commercials that promote the use of capsules made from ampalaya as a safe and effective medicine for those who have diabetes. According to the DOH, ampalaya has not yet been proven in scientific studies as a cure for diabetes.

It is therefore safe to say that before people embark on perceived self cure by taking in herbal capsules and supplements, advice from medical practitioners should always be taken.

Symptoms of people who have diabetes include frequent excessive thirst that is not related to engaging in physical activities; fatigue, drastic change in weight, frequent urination and excessive hunger. A very evident sign that you have diabetes is when you have elevated blood sugar levels.
